A Ph.D. holder in Food Science and Technology, he previously served as Director General of Sudan’s national standards body, leading national and international initiatives in quality and compliance.

His professional focus spans laboratory management, conformity assessment, policy development, and the modernization of quality control frameworks — enabling governments and businesses to achieve global standards in consumer protection, food safety, and international trade compliance.
